First Annual Charity Event by GOLF to benefit The Strings by the Sea
The Golf Organization of Lankans & Friends planned an annual event to be held every Labor Day weekend to benefit The Strings by the Sea. The children of The Strings by the Sea will be performing at this event to be held at the Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, CA at 7pm. |

"Harmony for the Holidays"
The Strings by the Sea, The American Youth Symphony Outreach Program and A Place Called Home, three non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting the music education of under-privileged children, will be performing for their families and friends on December 2nd, 2005 at 6:30pm at the Walgrove Elementary School Auditorium (1630 Walgrove Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90066). This concert, entitled "Harmony for the Holidays," will give the children the opportunity to show what they have accomplished with discipline and practice, and inspire their families and friends to continue to give them much needed encouragement and support. Bringing children from various backgrounds to play the universal language of music will promote unity between groups doing similar charitable work and ensure the success of all involved.
